I'm so glad I got to see Ruth recently with my mother, Fumiko. We were friends through St. James Episcopal church. Ruth and Bob were two of the kindest people I've ever met. They adored each other and it was wonderful to be around them. On my recent visit she shared the story of how and when they met. Delightful as ever. I'm so sorry for her family. Her friendship was a gift. May her memory be a blessing.
