Not sure what to say?

Mom, I miss you every single day and I have photos of you and Brandon, Phillip, Debbie, and me on the wall in my office!!! Love you and thank you for everything you did for me!

I have the fondest memories of cousin, Ruth. She was so easy to relate to, like one of my own generation. Our trips to the Keys with the Elsassers were very special. With love and deepest sympathy,
Nancy Swiren Schumann

I tried to reach the History Museum this morning to celebrate Ruth but was blocked at every turn by the marathon. Though I was not a close friend of Ruth's, every time we were together was a delight. Her warmth and beautiful smile were magnetic. She was so modest. I never knew of her remarkable achievements in the war and later. I wish I could have gotten to the museum to meet Ruth's family today. Janet McAliley

"Aunt Ruth was quite a gal", as her sister-in-law Estelle (my Mother) always said. Jack and I loved and admired her greatly and will reflect on her remarkable life now and each October 9th as we celebrate the birthday she and Jack shared.

I am lucky to have known such an amazing women. I will never forget the times I spent with her, her key lime pie, sitting on the porch of her apartment looking over the bay, the tiny little "christmas tree" she used to decorate when we were kids or coming back to her house after a fising trip in the keys. Grandma you are loved and missed.

How fortunate I was to have had such an amazing women to call my mother-in-law.
You will be missed more than you can imagine.
Debbie
