Eternal rest, grant unto Ruth O Lord and let perpetual light shine upon her. When I was four years old, the youngest of five children, I was inadvertently left behind in the parking lot after Mass one Sunday. Ruth and Don, my godparents, scooped me up with their six children (number 7 was on the way) and took me home to my parents' utter shock and horror. May Ruth rest in peace.
