My sincere condolences to Ruth's family. I first met Ruth at an open house that she was hosting. I was a single women, age 23, and looking for a home to purchase. This was in the early 70's when it was not that common for young single women to own realestate. Ruth was so encouraging and helpful in this first home purchase. We remained friends for many years. I really attribute her for helping me become a more independent woman. Her sense of humor and optimism will be forever with me. ...
