Ruth Farney

missing you ruth

Though I did not know Ruth personally, I almost feel as if I did. I have been friends with Ruth's son, Tim, since we were roommates at the University of Texas beginning in January 1987 and he has spoken of her many times through the years, always in glowing terms. Tim held his mother in the highest regard and never had a negative thing to say about her. It was obvious how much he loved her. And I'm positive that many others feel exactly the same way. My condolences go out to the Farney...

Although we were only in our early teens when we knew her, Ruth's wonderful smile and contagious laugh were unforgettable. Our hearts ache for the loved ones she left behind; but we rejoice in all the love and joy she gave to those she cherished.
