Dear Feinberg family:
I do not know if I had the honor of meeting Mrs. Feinberg, but I have had very pleasant memories of the Feinberg family. My Family lived a few doors down from their factory in Allentown. Several Aunts & Cousins worked in the factory and when my Father passed away in 1963, my Mother worked in the office. Although I do not know if I had the honor of meeting Mrs. Feinberg, I must say the Feinberg family showed my family how nice people can be. My family lived a few doors away from their swimsuit factory on Union St. in Allentown. I had many cousins and aunts (Dolgos) who worked in the factory. 50 years ago (1963), my Father passed away at the age of 39. My Mother was a young widow with 4 children. The Feinbergs were so nice to my family, and allowed my Mother to work...

To me she was reverently "Mrs. Feinberg" during my many visits to Mike's home while growing up in the west end of Allentown in the 1950s. Mike and I palled around for quite a few years and visiting his home was always the highlight of my day. His parents were welcoming and generous and to this day no one has been able to come close to duplicating the pastrami and baked beans that Mrs. Feinberg would make for us while we were visiting.
