Ruth LaVerne was my Mother-in-law for 55 years & I affectionately called her Mom. Her Grandchildren lovingly called her “ Maw “. She was one of the kindest people I ever knew in my life. She was a simple person who didn’t need much in a material way....but I do recall she was overjoyed with a new pair of shoes here & there!
I fondly remember some if her cooking, I LOVED her pot roast & she made the best fried chicken!!
She will be missed by all her family. I know she’s in Heaven,...
