Not sure what to say?

i miss and love you granny.from your grandson joshua thomas fowler.we will meet again.

I just heard from a fellow co-worker, when we worked with Ruth at Alaska Sleeping Bag company. Ruth was a wonderful lady and it was great having her as a co-worker years ago. My deepest sympathy to her family.

I worked with Ruth during the late 60's and early 70's at the Alaska Sleeping Bag Company. Ruth was always so very kind to all employees there. I remember sitting with her so many different times in the 'lunch room' while eating. That's when we had our best visits.
In reading her obituary, I discovered her maiden name was Dyke. Odds are pretty good that Ruth and I are now related. Although I had a different last name when I was working, my husband is a VanDehey which is also related...

Ruth used to work at Alaska Sleeping Bag Co back in 69-till bankrupted in 72. My husband John and I worked there, met and got married. She came to my shower at Olga Schill's condo off Allen. She was such a pleasant lady to talk to, always positive and upbeat. May the Lord bless her for she has touched so many people in her lifetime.

So sorry to hear about Ruth. I was Joe's secretary at McKesson Drug for many years. I kept in touch with both your parents at Christmas time. I'm happy I talked with Ruth after Joe's passing. My thoughts and prayers are with you. Love to your family. Jean Janzy

To all of you loved ones: My brother sent me the obit. Nice job. I'm missing Ruthie and sending peace to all family. She will be missed and is an inspiration to me always.
Love, Suzi Holling

To the Fowler Family-

Our parents, Lorn and Peggy Drummond, deeply admired and loved your Mom and Dad. They and their group of friends all had many wonderful times together.

When Nancy and I were married in 1995, your folks invited my Mother and Nancy and I to dinner at their home to celebrate our marriage. They were so generous.

Our deepest condolences for your loss.

Dave Drummond

To Ruth's Family: Sincere Condolences from the Paquette family. Anne is still alive and living in Bend with my sister Terry Anne. I am in Beaverton and have such fond memories of the important and long-lasting friendship between Joe and Ruth and Roger and Anne. I have some very touching letters that Ruth wrote to Anne in the early 1940s. Would love to get them to your family. My e-mail is [email protected].
