Judy,Punky, Patsy and Lizzy, what a wonderful woman she was. Mama Ruth will be missed. It is difficult to watch the older, strong Alexander women pass on. They shaped us and the whole neighborhod, all the while supporting each other through many life lessons. What a blessing it was to grow up in reach of this kind, funny, strict, loving wonman.

After living 25 years just 2 doors down from the Freeman's, I can clearly say that she is my most memorable neighbor of all time.
