Ruth Kramer Friedrich

Mrs. Friedrich will always be at my side when I play the Moonlight Sonata ( parts that I remember by heart). I will always remember her cookies during the holidays and the first German words that she taught me. I think about her often and my heart break breaks knowing that she passed away last year.

Former next door neighbor and piano student, I always looked forward to literally crossing the street for lessons. Regrettably, for reasons I still cannot recall, I discontinued lessons after only two to three years of instruction. I never stopped playing however and vowed to continue lessons. That day never came sadly and after the passage of several years of contemplating a comeback, my family moved out of the neighborhood. Throughout those years however, I always enjoyed her baked goodies...

Robert, I'm so sorry to hear of your mother's passing! I didn't know her very well but, from the times she came with you to Chorale rehearsal, she seemed a wonderful lady. I know she will be missed.

I will always remember taking my first piano lessons from Ruth. She was kind enough to make me a lap quilt which I still use. Thanks again, Ruth.

To the Friedrich Family. We are so very sorry to hear of the passing of Ms. Ruth. We have such fond memories of Pastor Friedrich and Ms. Ruth at Christ Lutheran Church back in the mid 1990's. Please know that you are in our thoughts and prayers.

To all of you, my dearest condolences. She was my first piano teacher. Her love for Bach has accompanied me my whole life, as I find myself addicted to his music as much as she was. Her cookies were amazing! I can remember the towels on the carpet when she would shampoo the carpet in the front piano room. Ruth Friedrich was my amazing piano teacher when I was in middle school. I will always remember her fondly and cherish the time I had with her. Our thoughts and prayers are with her family, friends, loved ones and all who knew her. Sincerely,
