Not sure what to say?

The neighborhood will never be the same without our dear Ruthie. She had a personality like no one I have ever known - very generous in kind and spirit and always spoke her mind. Ruthie was special to me, my husband and our 2 daughters and our lives are richer for having known her and been her friend. Ruthie made me laugh; she always had a twinkle in her eye. Those blue eyes!! We love you Ruthie - Brad, Shanti, Shayna & Pasha.

We are so sorry to hear about Ruthie's passing..she will be missed..Our thoughts and prayers are with her family.

I am sorry that I missed the wake and funeral. Ruth was always a warm, friendly person in our family meetings. My deep sorry for your immediate family. I am a cousin to her past husband John. I'll pass the word to my brothers and sisters about her passing.

My first memory of Ruthie was the day we moved to Welland Rd. in 1972. Since then she has been always a part of our lives. my son David ,who had Cystic Fibrosis, couldn't have chocolate. Ruthie made sure that on Halloween she had a candy that he could have. She made everyone feel special!! I will miss her friendship, her positive attitude, her "I am so happy for you, I have something for you, but bring over your own pan, your garden looks beautiful, and Look at those beautiful legs" She loved...

Unfortunately I just found out about Ruth's death as she was a dear friend of my grandmother, Florence Dodge. Wish I could have made her services but could not. I have many ,many fond memories of Ruth as a very special friend to my grandmother and my mother, Mary Jane (Cuddahy) Maushart from Capital Supermarket days. The thing I remember the most is her big sense of humor, friendship and that she was a very kind /funny person. A true blessing to anyone who crossed her path. She will truly be...

Ruthie was a very special person to me as I was growing up next door to her in Weymouth. She always was interested in what and how I was doing. Our "woman to woman" talks were affirming and supportive. She could remember what it was like being a girl and adolescent herself and advocated for me with my mom to let me wear lipstick or nylons, shave my legs, go somewhere-whatever I dearly wanted to do as part of becoming a young woman. My sympathy to all her family and friends on her death.

Sleep in peace, dear Ruthie. So many memories, tears, laughter, my buddy! Always when we parted it was I love you, well I love you too, always. Your Patty

Ruthie, your hearty laugh always filled the room and warmed our souls. You will be missed.

Aunt Ruthie you were alot of fun! I will always remember you catching the bouquet at my wedding.

God Bless,
Maureen, Paul & Jillian
