Not sure what to say?

I was so sorry to see Mrs. Harmon's notice in the paper. I was a student of her's in 8th grade -35 years ago- and I still remember her. Mrs. Harman was my 8th grade history teacher. She was a talented and knowledgable lady. She will be fondly remembered by many students at Christiansburg High School.

Dear family of Ruth, Many years ago we went to college together and she was my friend and neighbor. I retired in July 2009 and was going to visit after I recovered from my knee replacement, but I see I am too late. So very sorry for not keeping in touch. Alan do you remember when Jimmy and Billy would visit when you and Jon were all little. You guys played together during the summer when I was working on my masters degree at Radford. May God be with you as you go forth with your life. ...

Alan, we were so sorry to hear about Ruth. Please know that we are all thinking of you all.

May God Bless you all with peace of mind that she is now in a better place and is happy and well.

Love to you all:
