Not sure what to say?

One memorable Lady, Patriot, Elk, Vet, and Friend! God broke the mode when he completed Ruth. Rest in His peace.

I worked with Ruth at William Iselin. Despite our 30 year age gap she was one of my dearest friends who was always ready to party and go out after work with the WI gang including weekend ski trips by bus into New England ski country. And she was good! She was also a NYC Auxiliary Police patrol on horseback!! for special events and parades. A sight to see for sure. I was fortunate to get to see Ruthie many times inFlorida when I moved here from NY five years ago. She and Gus were a great pair...

What fun it was to know Ruth! Loved our annual visits to see Uncle Gus & Ruth! She will be missed by many. Live like Ruth!

I have so much love for one of my best friends, Glenn. I can clearly see where Glenn gets his sense of humor and beautiful outlook on life from! I feel so blessed to have met Glenn´s mom, Ruth and love the vibe she creates in a room! I´m so inspired to read about her incredible life. Wow! Ruth has done so many wonderful things, risking her own life to help people! It´s so cool to read what an extraordinary human being she was and may her spirit, her energy and memories live on through...

Ruth was a force of nature in every way, inspiring and capable, enthusiastic and indefatigable. A night out was never complete until we had been to a couple of her favorite watering holes - preferably ending up dancing. Being exhausted from our teaching jobs, Glenn and I would cry for mercy to which she would reply "creampuffs!" Ruth lived her life more fully than anyone I know. She is deeply missed.

"Your mother makes you look like an old fart." I was 19 when one of my college professors told me that after meeting Ruth at a "parent's weekend" meet and greet cocktail party. Her "force of life" personality and willingness to help others will never be forgotten.

Ruth was quite a lady. I had no idea of all she had accomplished in her liftetime. She was a ray of sunshine and if you were lucky enough to know her and Gus you would surely share a lot of laughs and have a good time. This photo of her is the "real deal". Rest in Peace Ruth. I am proud to have known you.

It sure was a pleasure knowing Ruth. She was a true veterans advocate and fun to be around. Dr. Len Sirotzki did a show about her on his "Americas Veterans" tv series for METV. Great lady and longtime friend. May she Rest in Peace. (Slow hand salute).
