Dear Ruth,
Just read about your mom's passing in the Island Packet of Hilton Head when visiting my mom and wanted to let you and the family to know how sorry we were to learn of your loss. I know she is in a better place with our Creator and Lord. I will never forget how sweet she was to me when we were best friends on Laufayette Street in Beaufort SC...those were some great memories. Blessings of love and comfort to you and yours duing these difficult days.

I am so sorry to hear of Ruth's passing. She lived next door to my Uncle Perry Wells some years ago. She was very kind to my uncle. They used to go to Denny's for dinner. I felt better with her being next door to my uncle as she kept an eye on him. I live in upstate New York and did not get down to GA as often as I would have liked. God Bless her!

My Mom was the strongest person I have ever known. I can only hope to live a life as full as her's was and I can only hope to be doing as good as she was at 90 years old. She will be missed by her family and friends more than anyone can imagine. I love you Momma

I am so thankful to have many cherished childhood memories of my Aunt Ruth. She will always have a special place in my heart.
