I just learned of your beloved mother's passing today, Sat. 2-12-05, and I'm so sorry that I didn't get to see you at the funeral home. The notice wasn't in the 2-5-05 Saturday edition of the Sunday Pittsburgh Post Gazette and my son, Gregory, that you met at your father's funeral, didn't tell me that it was only in the Sunday edition, 2-6-05, until today. Dear Hess family,
We are saddened at the death of Ruth Ann. She was a gracious lady, charming and with an energetic inquisitiveness. Since becoming part of the Oceancrest family, we enjoyed many theatrical events and dinners with her and Emerson. We are the better for knowing these remarkable people. We share your sense of loss and you have our deepest sympathy.
