Ruth M. Heus

Mrs. Heus had to be one of the best teachers of all-time and I was happy to have called her a friend as I grew older. My thoughts and prayers go out to the family. She was amazing and will always be remembered!

I will always remember Mrs. Heus. She was my favorite teacher. Always kind hearted and sweet. Even as an adult she remembered me as her 1st grade student. My condolences to her family.

Ruth and Harley were customers at my parent's restaurant near Stockbridge. But Ruth and Harley were more than customers - they were great friends. I have moved many years ago, but I still can picture their grace and poise - they always shared a friendly smile and stories.

I met Ruth when I was a little girl - my family spent summers on the same Lake Winnebago beach as the Heus'. I moved out of state 17 years ago, but every summer (with the exception of this year) would spend time at the lake. I have fond memories of Ruth - she would stop by to chat and would always ask how my parents were doing. She always had a smile on her face. She was such a genuine, kind person and a great example of how we should live our lives. She will be missed. My condolences to...
