Not sure what to say?

Dear Richard,

I am not sure if you will remember me, but I just heard about Ruth a few days ago through an old classmate of ours. I had been trying to find and contact Ruth for quite a while. We were so close and I loved her very much, she was the sister I never had. I regret losing contact after a while when we moved back to Ohio. I am also sorry to see, Carole too has passed. My sincere deepest sympathies to you for Ruthie and Carole. I am so sorry. You were my second...

My daughter, who was her student last year, was especially upset to learn her teacher would no longer greet her. she still does not understand why she died, we only can say that God needed her more in Heaven.

Dear Mrs. Hoppe-Weiss,

Thank you for the memories from Kingergarten. We were both in your class. I am now in 7th grade and Abriana is in 3rd. We remember you teaching us how to count in different languages like Spanish, Swahili, and Chinese. It was fun showing our parents all we learned at graduation. Rest in Peace - Ruben and Abriana Orantez.

Uncle Rich, I'm SO sorry to hear about Ruthie! She was way to young to leave her loving family, and friends. No parent should EVER have to bury a child.

God Bless Ruthie, her family, you and everyone else who's life she touched!

Your Godson,
Kenny Lauer

Richard,
We are so sorry to hear about Ruthie; we remember her as a teen.
She was so vivacious and fun. Most importantly, she was one of the kindest people we have ever met. Our hearts go out to you and your family.

Mrs.Hoppe-Weiss was my oldest son's Kindergarten teacher. He has fond memories of making biscuits in her class.

My two younger sons were also upset when they heard about her passing. Robert wanted me to post that he loved Mrs.Hoppe-Weiss and she will always be in his heart. He is a Kindergarten student, and although he was not in her class, he saw her every day and appreciated her smiles, hugs, and kind words.

She will be greatly missed!
Our deepest condolences...

To the family of Ruth Hoppe Weiss:
My children were both students of hers. They are now 18 and 20 years old. I have read these tributes over and over here in other comments from past students. As a parent she was the one I left my children with their first day of school, I will always remember how she welcomed each child and made them feel at ease. We still have many of the projects she worked on with them and treasure them. Ruth began a legacy of understanding, caring and education with...

Although we were not related by blood we were sisters by choice, by heart and by soul.

For the last twenty years you were my sister, my best friend and my confidante. You were "Aunt Ruthie" to my daughters and an irreplaceable part of my life. Life goes by so fast and is so very busy, and although we didn’t get to be together as much as we wanted we were kindred souls and would pick up right were we left off from the last time we were together.

Now my kindred spirit,...

Mrs.Hoppe-Weiss was my favorite teacher and I really enjoyed her parties. Kindergarten was a scary beginning for me and she made me very happy. She was a kind and loving teacher that I will never forget. Mrs. Hoppe-Weiss will be missed.
