Not sure what to say?

Mrs. Kimball was a teacher that related well to her students and inspired many of us. I have many fond memories of both her class and the classy woman that taught us. I have thought of her often and fondly over the years. I was fortunate to have her as a teacher.

Mrs Kimball was my favorite teacher… funny because I cant spell, write and don’t like to read…. But she encouraged me with my photography through the CHS yearbook, and for 47 years I worked taking yearbook portraits across the country, which I loved… its wonderful have a career that you enjoy every minute of…. I don’t know what I would have done without her encouragement. Thank you so much Mrs Kimball:)

Not only was Mrs. Kimball an inspiring teacher, but also an adult who was easy to talk to; she was always willing to listen. I always enjoyed my sophomore English class because of her; I too taught high school English for 34 years and used her as an inspiration.

Ruth was a valued role model in my earliest years of teaching. She was a true professional and served her students well. She helped make Clayton High School the fine school it was in those years!

Mrs. Kimball was a wonderful teacher at Clayton High School. Her sincerity and enthusiasm made English fun and interesting. Many at our reunion (Class of 65) a year ago wondered about Mrs. Kimball. All had fond memories. Thank you, Mrs. Kimball and goodbye...

I'm so very sorry to hear of Mrs. Kimball's passing. She was, by far, my favorite teacher and I owe her so much because she provided all of us a solid foundation before we had to head out into the world to make our way. She was truly an inspiration.

Mrs. Kimball instilled in me a love for writing. She always encouraged her students at Clayton High to do their best. I had the honor of having her twice for English and will never forget "Silas Marner"

I was sorry to hear of Mrs Kimball's passing, she was a wonderful teacher with such an understanding attitude toward her students. She was truly a great teacher to have during my years at Clayton High, class of 1965.

Mrs. Kimball was my English teacher at Clayton High School in the 1960's. What a swetheart :) She was kind and understanding and I will always remember that in those days she dressed to the "nines". Her love of the English language and reading are passions that she passed on to her students, and I was a better student for it. She will be sadly missed.
