So sorry to hear of Ruth's passing. I met Ruth when she visited my relatives in the hospital or came to the funeral home. My relatives told me she was Norman's wife, Ruth. I got to speak with her when I delivered the KM Herald to the hospital. I could tell she was a very compassionate, caring, friendly and loving person. Sorry I could not come to visitations or funeral, but your family is in my thoughts and prayers.

My most sincere and heartfelt sympathy to Bruce, Kathleen, Andrew and all of the other family members. She was a very sweet lady. Kind caring and ever so welcoming. May God hold her in the palm of his hand.

So sorry to hear about your loss. I didn't know Ruth until a few years ago. She came to my relatives funerals and they told me she was Norman's wife, Ruth. I also saw her at the hospital when I delivered papers or she stopped by to see my relatives in the hospital.
Just from these few moments of seeing or speaking to her, I got the impression that she was a kind, caring and friendly person. Sorry I couldn't come to visitation or funeral, but know your family is in my prayers.

As a teenager growing up in the Second Baptist Church of Kings Mountain, I had the opportunity to observe Ruth King's wonderful attributes of friendliness and dedication to God,family, church, and community. She was an outstanding role model. My condolences to her family.
