Ruth Koch

Mrs. Casey was one of the "Grande Dames" of Cottonwood Place that watched over the many of us kids on the street, fed us, instructed us on good manners, yelled at us if we were misbehaving, all within a very tight community where we all knew each other and everything about all the families on the street. She always bought my Christmas cards, Boy Scout chocolate bars, and everything we sold to make spending money. She once predicted that I´d be a millionaire by the time I was 40 because I...
