It is so hard, to lose our parents, no matter the age: no wonder your are an incredible seamstress! What lessons you learned. It gives us an new total perspective when we accept that our parents are gone. Be good to yourself. She sounds like a very talented, loving Mom, and teacher,( when I lived in Northern Minnesota I went to a " one room school and I so loved it. ). The 60 yr marriage is something to amaze us all.
