Not sure what to say?

I only knew Ruth for a brief time in our book club, but I felt as though I had known her forever. She was so easy to talk with and exuded love and friendship at the onset. We will miss this extraordinary lady. Pat Blinn

Ruth was a cousin of my husband Ray and she is the one who married us. She was a wonderful person and I was blessed to know her. May she rest in heavenly peace forever.

Bold & Bright - A Florist Original

It was a privilege to ordain Ruth some years ago during my tenure as bishop. We shared many adventures thereafter. She was always smart, forthright, and faithful - and loved incense! She will be welcome in the heavenly realms. Love to Ed and Brad and all her family. +Henry

I hate to hear about Ruth´s passing. She introduced my mom and dad to each other. She actually taught my mom when she was a teacher at Northwest High School. Ruth and my dad were 1st cousins. My grandmother Gertrude and Aunt Bea were sisters. I always loved her visits because she was the interesting person I had ever known. Her stories about her time in the Middle East and her travels were so fascinating. She will be missed.

What a wonderful obituary. Ruth was truly all of those good things. I cherish my friendship with she and Ed, though I saw them infrequently after they moved to Fairhope--Birmingham's loss. I send sympathy to Ed as he deals with the absence of this powerful force in his life.

I'm so sorry to hear of this. I grew up just down the street from the LaMonte's and their children often babysat my sister and I. Good people and Ruth will be sorely missed by many communities.

I was so sorry to hear about Ruth's passing. She was one of the most amazing people I have ever known. Even though I didn't know her well, I admired her very much. Our paths crossed every few years, and I will never forget her willingness to write a recommendation for me when I applied for a Fulbright traveling teacher program. My condolences to Ed and all the family. I know you have many great memories and stories of her time with you, and will miss her.
