Not sure what to say?

Ruthie, you were like a Mom to a lot more of us who you welcomed so much in your homes in Westwood and Walpole. We had a lot of great times sitting in your kitchen in Walpole. I will never forget your great laugh and also the best memory of all with you - the night Nancy and I got engaged 28 years ago. Where was the first place we went that night? Ruthie's house in Walpole to share our good news and some champagne! We will never forget you.

Ruth, there are many qualities that make you special. I think perhaps your dynamic personality was the one I enjoyed the most. Your laughter has always been contagious as has been your thoughtfulness.

I was fortunate to get to the hospital during your last day there. Although your eyes were closed and you did not speak, I sensed how comforted you felt to hear the voices of your children, children's children, nieces, nephews and friends as some rose in laughter, others choked in tears....

God saw you getting tired and a cure was not to be.He put His arms around you and whispered "come to me".With tearful eyes we watched you, and saw you pass away.Although we loved you dearly, we could not make you stay.A golden heart stopped beating, hard working hands at rest.God broke our hearts to prove to us, He only takes the best.

Life will never be the same Mom- I love you dearly.Son #3, Donald David

You were such a blessing and even though your passing has awoken my spirit to a renewed gratefulness for the blessings that remain, I am still saddend and will miss you very much.

I have always considered myself very lucky to have you in my life. I always will. Your love, support, and joy in living will stay in my heart and continue to guide me. Thank you so much for being you.

I will always remember Aunt Ruth. I have had the pleasure of knowing her my whole life and I could not have been more proud than to have had her as my aunt. I have many wonderful memories of her. The one special memory I have is when she had the switchboard. I would drive up to her home every Friday night, and she would take this time to do the household errands. These included the weekly food shopping, and when she returned, I would assist her with putting the groceries away. We would...

Dear Ruth, I knew you for a brief time in Norfolk and was so happy to have met such a warm and lovely lady. My heartfelt sympathies go out to your dear children who must be wonderful to have had such a dear mother.

Dear Mom,

I don't know how we'll go on without you and at the same time I know that you expect us to "put one foot in front of the other" and keep moving. I treasure all that you taught me, shared with me, and the many times we laughed so hard that we cried. Your love of life and people is my inspiration now and I miss you terribly. I am not ready to be here without you Mom, and I love you always, Sandi
