Dear McArdle family: I am Barbara Ermides' sister and I met your mom & grandmother through her. My sister told her I was a tour guide on the Albany Aquaducks and didn't Ruth come on my tour! I was so shocked to hear about your mother's passing she was a beautiful person. Although i only knew her for five weeks as her aide it seemed like i knew her all my life. Ruth loved her family you guys were all she ever talked about. It's good to know that familys like yours still exist. I will miss our Saturday and Sunday talks she gave me alot of good advice and i will cherish her memory forever.

It's been so many years since I've seen you, but you have never been far from my thoughts. I'm so sorry to hear of your Moms passing. I remember going to your house on New Scotland...I remember high school.. all the crazy things we did!!!You were my best friend back then. I miss you. Know that my thoughts, prayers and love are with you now, and always have been. Remember, Jesus tells us that to be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord...I hope you can find...

It is with great sadness that we learned of Ruth's passing. She was our next door neighbor for the past ten years, and we will miss her dearly. She was a wonderful woman, with a tremendous positive attitude and a great sense of humor. She adored her children and grandchildren. Our hearts go out to all of you.

To the McArdle family - I was deeply saddened to learn of your Mom's passing, but am finding comfort knowing she is at peace. We will miss her a great deal at the office (PCCS), she was such a class act. There was never a time, no matter how she felt, that she did not take the time to chat and enjoy each other's company. All of you did a fantastic job caring for her. I am a better person to have known her.

We were so sad to read of your Mom's passing. Unfortunately, we were out of town for the holidays and unable to pay our respects. We have wonderful memories of times spent with her and Annjane. One of my fondest memories of her was on a "girls day out" when she, Annjane and I went to lunch at the Equinox in Manchester VT. Ruth was always a joy to be around - so full of fun and life, no matter how hard it got. I'm sure you will miss her deeply. Our prayers...

Dear DJ, Chris and family we are all saddened by the news of your mother’s passing. We realize how difficult it is for each of you in this time of grieving, our prayer for you is that the hurt will fade someday. Your mother was a special being that would light up a room with her presence. I can tell you that I still carry a part of that light with me everyday and I am sure many others do also. This world is a better place for having Ruth here, and she is in a better place for her...
