Not sure what to say?

Dear All,
I just learned of Ruth's death yesterday. Words cannot express how sorry I am. My father was Charles Link, Ruth's first cousin and Bill's childhood friend. Altho I know you must be missing her terribly, I am sure there has been quite a group to greet her. She had a life well lived. With Sympathy, Jill Link Branch

Hello, Family,
Your mother was my dad's cousin -- mine too, I guess. That's how that works. I remember meeting her and your father a few years ago in Battle Creek while working on our family history. She was so warm and gracious, a beautiful lady. Your dad gave me one of the matchbooks featuring the family picture. I keep it with my family treasures. My heart goes out to you all.

Ruth was an amazing woman - I only wish I would have had a chance to meet her in person. My thoughts and prayers go out to the wonderful McVeigh family.

Dear friends,
I am truly sorry to see that my friend, your mother and a great lady has passed. I was kind of in shock as I just was talking to her via e-mail. I will miss her little notes she sent me. Her kindness to me will always be remembered and to Steve (her other child at the dinner table as she called him growing up. It was a pleasure to have known her and she will be missed.

Dear Anne and Family...my deepest condolences. I never met your mother...but I remember attending school with you, Anne, at St. Phillips. I know this is a difficult time for you...and you are all in my prayers. Janet (Arlt)

My thoughts are with the family. I'm always amazed at how one Mom could handle so many.

McVeigh Family, My thoughts and prayers are with you all at this time. I have fond memories of your family and the times with the Boy Scouts. Your mom and dad were there pitching in and doing. It is a pleasure to know such a fine woman and to have the memories of a wonderful family. God be with you until we meet again.
