Ruth Barbour Meskel

I will miss seeing this lovely woman's face at the Old Timers Baseball Banquet. Just a fun, darling lady.

My prayers go out to the Barbour and Meskel families. Ruth was such a shining light in the world. She always told us Becics how special we were to her as she was to us. We only met her after she married Milo and she brought new life to his remaining years. She was a positive persona and I loved her smile. I was fortunate to visit with her right before the "shut down" and had hoped to see her again soon. Miss you, Ruth.

She had a sincere sense of humor and was always fun to be around.

The neighborhood won't be the same without Ruth. I will miss catching up with her goings on over the phone or when we both happened to be outside at the same time. I will miss her Christmas cards every year, that she actually mailed even though she could see my house from her side windows. I will miss bumping into her at Safeway. She was so active and vibrant. We always ended a visit or chat with "we must get together for a toddy". So today I raise my glass to Ruth, a rare jewel, a class act,...

This is the part of life that is confusing and hard to process. But what I do know about my Grandma and the time that she was here is that she was an incredible human who touched the hearts of so many people. From the stories she would tell me of her days at Marshall High School, to the oh soo many baseball stories she had, and to hear about the love of her family and their farm in Silverton. My heart is forever filled with memories and the love that she gave. She taught me many lessons...

It's so hard to say goodbye to dear "Ruthie"? She brightened my days @Marshall and remained a dear friend long after she retired. She was a role model for all and always there for her many friends. My heart goes out to her loving family of which she was always so proud. I will carry her in my heart forever. Fondly, Sue

Aunt Ruth: A ball of energy with a brilliant smile, she brought joy to so many. Her devotion to family was but one of her many attributes. I feel so blessed to have had her in my life. My deepest condolences to my cousins, their spouses and families.

My father, Milo Sr, was adjusting to life after the loss of his beloved Patricia and I had moved close to home to spend more time with my dad and be of support.
