Carolyn, I just learned last night of Ruth's passing. She was the first friend I made when my husband, daughter, and I relocated to Huntsville in 1957, and we maintained that close friendship for 60 years. I will miss her very much. She was an intelligent, funny, and joyful soul, and that was apparent, it seems to me, because of her relationship with the Lord.

Your family is in my thoughts and prayers.

When we lived in Huntsville, we met Ruth through Getting to Know You at FBC. She was a sweet lady and continued to exchange Christmas cards through this past Christmas. She always wrote a sweet note on her card. We will miss hearing from her. Our condolences to her family. Chuck and Sarah Fortner

You were such a friend and inspiration to my mother. Thanks for the wonderful meals you cooked for her. You will be missed at Redstone. Sincerely, Joseph Traylor, Philadelphia, PA.
