Not sure what to say?

I met Ruth in person only 3 or 4 times, but we were email friends with many interests in common for more than 25 years. I always admired and valued her, but after reading her obituary I realize I didn't know half of what she accomplished. She was one of a kind. I will make a donation to the San Francisco Women's Building in her memory.

Four of us got to visit Ruth one day in her apartment in her later years. She played her guitar and sang for us and it was a thrill I shall always cherish. Rest in Peace, my friend.

To Ruth's family ... I knew Ruth when I taught poetry at HSU. I liked her very much. Such a great poet and writer and activist. The world is less bright for her absence. But also brighter for her long presence with us. I'm privileged and honored to have known Ruth.

A true front runner for women's rights. History will remember you. May peace be with you sister.

My late father, Alex Frediani, served on the Grand Jury with Ruth. He truly admired and respected her.

My condolences to all who knew and loved Ruth.
Ruth was so talented and caring. She walked the walk and talked the talk.
Ruth Mountaingrove will be missed.

Miss you Ruthy Your light will continue to shine in the hearts and minds of all of us who knew you. Love, Karrie
