Ruth Alexandra Muirhead, 83, sister of Grace Magdalin of Saskatoon; Charlotte Ballance (Bill) of Cumberland B.C.; Tom Muirhead (Lorraine) of Winnipeg, and sister-in-law of June Mu, passed away on Sunday, January 26, 2003. Memorial services are scheduled for Monday, February 3, 2003, at MacGregor United Church, officiated by the Rev. Quentin Robinson. Receiving hours are scheduled for Monday, following services, at MacGregor Memorial Hall. Interment will be private at Evergreen Memorial Gardens, Portage la Prairie. Memorial donations are appreciated to Canadian Cancer Society, 193 Sherbrook Street, Winnipeg, MB R3C 2B7; Heart and Stroke Foundation of Manitoba, Catherine Newham-Portage Office, 103 Wilkinson Crescent, Portage la Prairie, MB R1N 1A7; or a charity of the donor's choosing. I remember as a young boy going to the post office & Ruth giving me the mail. I have a curling picture of Ruth & my Mother Victoria Smith in a bonspiel. I also remember the cow bell, now that it was mentioned in her obituary. Fond Memories, God Bless - Norman Smith
