Ruth and I were classmates all through elementary, middle and high school. She was clearly brilliant, had a beautifully ethereal way and carried herself with dignity from the time we met as young children. She, Nancy Cole, Carol Sanders, Kathy Frumkies and a few others were are girl buddies. May she rest in peace.
