My sincere condolences Kari to you and your family on the loss of a wonderful person. I always loved hearing her stories of the past, and her pride for her family, along with the excitement of trying to always do the right thing to help others. May her memory always be for a blessing for you and your family.

My condolences to the family. I had the pleasure of knowing Ruth while teaching in the Springfield Public Schools. She was kind and gracious. I wish I had known how interesting her life really was. God has gained another Angel.

Dr. Njiiri, was a good friend for many years. I first met and worked with Ruth at the Springfield Museums and found her to be outgoing and caring about anyone she met. You could always count on her for many things and she was straight forward with her comments...very good and helpful! Ruth will be missed by many people!
