Ruth, together with Ann, Grady, Paul, Tim and I were a circle of friends in the 1979-1981 era that had great fun together. I'll always remember hanging out with Ruth & Ann at the old cemetery at Quarry Hill park, bumping into her unexpectedly in Boston and the unauthorized party she threw at her Dad's cabin on Lake Zumbro. I was playing her Dad's guitar when he walked in to break it up! She was a delight to hang out with. RIP, Ruth.

Today at St Vincent’s Virtual medical grand rounds I sadly learned of Ruth’s passing . I last saw her in February 2020 at our last in person grand rounds before the pandemic cancelled our meetings. I was thankful to her for her friendly greetings , punctuality and organized presentation for our sign in and announcements of upcoming lectures as well as arranging a tasty breakfast with the best coffee for us attendees. I am sending sincere sympathy to her family and friends. She will be missed.

One time we were at Hagg Lake and loaded the boat on the trailer. Upon trying to start the car, we realized we had a drained battery. In my panic, she says to me “at least we aren’t at the beach with the tide coming in”. We had a good laugh at that for years. When we golfed, she would get her mother’s club out and play a few shots for her. I...

Best friend & coworker at Providence for 23 years. Thank you for you kind heart, support, dog walks, beach talks, dancing till the moon comes up, breakfast, singing, venting at the range, card & Viking games, fishing at Lake Wobagon, cracking the crab claw, and warm smile, love, & bear hugs! Love you always girlfriend!
