Ruth Perlmutter

I met Ruth and Lila many years ago when I lived in So Orange- and Ruth stood up in front of the Town Council and spoke out about the conditions of the animal shelter. She was a force of nature- someone the Readers Digest would call 'The Most Unforgettable Person I Met" I volunteered for the JAC and always found Ruth helping us, rallying the troops- Always for the animals and the underdogs. To her daughters I am so sorry for your loss. Ruth had a full life and lived it!

I remember Ruth as a kind and caring person when I adopted dogs from the JAC. That was my years ago. One of those dogs went on to become a therapy dog with over 500 visits to a nursing home. Thank you, Ruth. A life we'll lived.
