Not sure what to say?

Dr. Plate was a wonderful advocate for the students under her tutelage. No was not an acceptable answer from anyone when she felt her kids needed and deserved something at school. Even it was coming from administration. She fought hard for them to leave Longfellow with a love of reading as she put a huge focus on wonderful library books for them to enjoy. Morning announcements with vocabulary words were the norm. She was a great mentor to the parents and staff in her building. I am forever...

Our sincere condolences to the family of Sister Ruth Plate. We met through Brother David Plate donating his organ to our church, Bethany Love Divine Ministry, after he experienced a stroke. We kept in touch over the last couple years through text messages and many prayers for she and Brother David. I just looked up Sister Ruth´s name today and just learned of her passing. I text her last week and didn´t receive a response which was why I went searching. We will keep your family in our...

I just heard of Ruth Ann's passing. I'm so very sorry for your loss. She was an inspiration to me and a dear friend earlier in my career.

Dr. Ruth And Late was a deer educational friend WE enjoyed working together in the rain city schools. She was a dynamic individual. I have a great memories of her and her husband Dave of times that she even Dave and debbie and Harry and I would share a dinner or two.

My condolences to the family. I really loved working with Dr. Plate she was an amazing person.

To Dr. Plates Family I am so saddened to read of her passing. She was the Principal at Longfellow when our son attended. She was an amazing Educator and Administrator in each of the many positions she held in the District. Her main goal was always to see that the teachers had what they needed to teach and that each student received what they needed to learn. Dr. Plate was the...
