Not sure what to say?

Chad and Lisa, I am so sorry to hear about your mom´s passing. She was an incredible woman, a force to be reckoned with. Hope you both are Ok. My deepest sympathies.

Chad and Lisa: Your mom and I grew up together in Nevada City, and graduated from NUHS Class of '69 . She lived across the South Pine Street Bridge from and we used to meet in the middle of it to talk. She will remain in my heart forever. Love to you both, Joan

This breaks my heart. Ruth became a dear friend as we spent much time together at Pioneer Park exercising pyr dogs and discussing all things Nevada City, life, parenting and the state of the world. She was a wonderful, sharp woman with a great laugh. She contributed so much to Nevada City in many ways. She loved her kids and she loved her dog, July. You are missed, Ruth.

I was a regular at the Posh Nosh for breakfast - my glass gallery was across the street - coffee with Ruth was a regular thing.

I was so sorry to read of your mother´s passing. She was my real estate agent, when I purchased a home in 2012. Nice, funny woman.

I still remember all of the fun we had in High School. RIP

Posh Nosh was the first restaurant that I went to when I moved to Nevada City in 1998. I loved the patio dining. Ruth did a wonderful thing for the community for many years. I miss her and her contributions. Love to the family.

I loved Ruth! She was a great customer at Friar Tucks and an amazing restaurant owner! Always great smile! I know she was a huge animal lover. She will be greatly missed.

I knew Ruth since 5th grade and was good friends with her sister Charlene. Your mom was a hard worker and did great things for Nevada City. Our prayers for your family So sad to hear of your passing.
