My Dear Ruth, I enjoyed your company,laughs, kisses and hugs. You will be missed dearly by all. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family.

The bond shared by my mother and Ruth was always very apparent to me throughout my life. Mom loved Ruth as much as or more than a real sister and she often spoke of Ruth’s generosity, sense of humor, passion for living and devotion to her family. In later years it was very disconcerting to mom that distance proved to keep them from maintaining their great bond to the level they would each have preferred. but Ruth was always in her heart.

We are sad to hear of Ruth's passing. While I never really knew Buddy(Harold) and Ruth, I heard about them as a child. Buddy's mother and my dad were brother and sister. We kind of lost track of the Vest family in Texas after Buddy died. It has been through the efforts of Herb, that we recently picked up on many years of lost time. I am sure Ruth will be greatly missed by her family. She is in God's hands now and looking down on all. God bless the family in this very difficult time.
