Ruth Lillian "Granny" Puglise

Ruth ""Granny"" Lillian Gambino Puglise entered peacefully into heaven on Saturday, February 28, 2015, surrounded by her loving family at the age of 89. Devoted wife of the late Salvador ""Sam"" Puglise and a loving mother of Josie Puglise Authement (Terry) and Sammy Puglise (Tammy). A proud grandmother of Ashley A. Joyce (John), Jessica P. Baudoin (Jason) and Chad Puglise and a great grandmother of Taylor Joyce, Caleb Joyce, Sammy Joyce, Lizzie Joyce, Jacie Joyce, Lucy Baudoin and Logan Baudoin. Daughter of the late Margaret Kentzel Gambino and Peter Gambino and preceded in death by her 7 brothers and 5 sisters. She is also survived by numerous loving nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. A special thanks to her caregiver, Ines Jimenez, for her compassionate care given to Ms. Ruth and Heart of Hospice for their assistance and care. Ruth enjoyed cooking, spending time with family and friends, traveling with friends, who was very generous and never met a stranger and of course; The QVC shopping queen. Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Funeral Mass at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, 15405 Highway 90, Paradis, LA., on Tuesday, March 3, 2015 at 11:00 am.
