Have had Ruth on my mind the last couple of days...specifically, her remarking on my lack of proper housekeeping. We had some good times way back in the day!

Thank-you Janice ! I have not seen you since you left Palestine when we were kids. Uncle Chris ( Clyde) has passed also. Aunt Biddy (Martha VanDyke) also raised me for a few years before I moved to MD in 1958. Ruth was indeed one of a kind and we miss her dearly.

I remember and her brother Clyde from the early fifties.my great aunt , Martha van Dyke took care of them for several years after their parents died.. I used to play with butcher, who I think is wade. Wondered what became of the three.my sister ran across Ruth´s o bit.. I remember her red hair and she was always on the goo.. I thought I should share this, after re-reading so many messages here. A couple of weeks after my mom(Ruth) died, I was in the process of selling her car. An older gentleman had come to look at it, with his wife and daughter. In the process of negotiations, they asked why I was selling it.
