Mother Ruth Salome Roach

Miss Ruth, as I called her, was such a sweet and kind lady. No matter how many years it had been since she last saw me, she always made feel like she was genuinely happy to see me.

My condolences go out to the family, loved ones, friends and all those who know and love her. She is now reunited with her beloved husband.

Be strong in the Lord, and He will see through this storm. God bless you.

When she played for our choir at Trinity she made me want to sing and I sang to please GOD then her.Mrs Roach could "thump" that piano!!!!!! Cousin Ruth was my most direct connection in this era to her father and his siblings [one of whom was my grandfather] because she delighted in sharing with me her stories of the Waldens who left Fauquier County, VA, to make their way in the world.
