Ruth Roberts was an amazing woman. She was wonderfully spirited, wildly creative, and had her own smart sense of style—even at 90 years old. Like so many gals who attended William & Mary, I worked for her and her husband at Parlett’s in the late 1970’s. It was a life-changing experience, although I had no idea at the time.
