Not sure what to say?

I am saddened to hear of Mrs. Rummonds'passing. I met her while working at the district when Mr. Rummonds was on the Board of Directors. At water conferences or activities where both your dad and mom were involved I became a bit more connected to her. Sometimes I would just walk with her, always talking to one another, to the next session or activity. I so enjoyed the talking, I loved her voice and the many things she had to share. Being with her and communing was definitely one of the...

I had the honor and priviledge of being Ruths companion and friend starting at age 96. She was an amazing person, intelligent, funny, spontaneous and full of decades of stories. Everywhere I drive in Santa Cruz county reminds me of somewhere she and I had gone. We loved getting a burger and sitting on the cliffs watching the ocean. We never ran out of songs or conversation. I will never forget her re-action to her first 3D movie ! I am amazed by Ruth and will miss her forever.

To Ruth's Family: Ruth was loved by so many children whose lives she help shape. Those children grew up but never forgot her sitting on those little chairs, guiding and encouraging them in the wonders of education.
I will always remember my last conversation with her. She said she admired how our mother sent us to school always looking so nice. Ruth was 97 that day but her memory was sharp. I loved her.

I loved my wonderful friend Ruth and will remember her fondly. My best wishes to her family, Michelle Holland

So sorry for your family's loss, Jim. Loosing your Mom is always difficult.

I went to school because Mrs. Rummonds wanted me to. She was my kindergarden teacher at John Kelley school in Thermal. My thoughts and prayers are with you, Jimmy and Sue. Deanna

I remember my late youngest son, Andrew, coming home from Washington school in 1961 telling me how much he liked his teacher. She was a wonderful lady to be a child's first teacher. I honor her memory and say a prayer for the family.

Mrs. Rummonds was an outstanding person. Always kind and gracious. My thoughts and prayers are with Jim, Sue and family.
