Not sure what to say?

I suppose it's happened to many caregivers. You act as a caregiver for a loved one who has serious health issues, or maybe has had an injury . . . and that loved one's friends become your friends. That's how Ruth and I became friends. Ruth and my mom, Floy, started their friendship back in the early 60s at the First Free Methodist Church in southeast Portland. They remained friends for over 50 years. I got to know Ruth while taking care of my mom. When Floy (my mom) passed in January of...

Ruth always had a smile on her face and mild spirit. It's how I remember her. Audrey, all the best to you. Thinking about you during this time of grief. XO

In memory of Ruth and Family with many good years in Portland visits. We do miss the good times of laughter and arguments. We miss the special times together.

I met Ruth at Eastside Church Bible study. She was a very charming, pleasant person, and she has been riding to church with me pretty much ever since. We have been attending the Sanctuary Church in Gresham together ever since eastside closed. Ruth has shared many stories, memories, and a beautiful testimony with me and as I have gotten to know her I have truly found a special love for her and could see her beauty as a mother. My condolences to all her children, and family. I love you, Ruth....

My condolences to Ruth´s family. I attended Monday morning Bible studies with her. She will be greatly missed but she is now with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Till we meet again.

Grief can be so hard, but our special memories help us cope. Remembering you and your loved one today and always.

Will miss your beautiful pictures on Facebook. We didn't communicate a lot but every time I would see her on my computer it would lift my spirits. I will miss her. Love, Her cousin, Pat Pule

My condolences to her children. We are praying for you! Your mom was a blessing to many, and I enjoyed getting to know her the last six years. She now joins the church victorious! -Pastor Pete & Lily
