Send FlowersATTLEBORO - Ruth E. (Sund) Savill, age 60, died on Monday, June 4, 2007 at the Philip Hulitar Hospice in Providence, RI. She was the wife of Leroy Savill.
Ruth was born in Boston on September 17, 1946 the daughter of Bernard and Valborg Linnea Sund. Ruth attended the Boston Public Schools when she lived in Roslindale and came to Attleboro 36 years ago. She went back to school at the age of 50 to receive her college degree from Fisher College.
In addition to her husband, Ruth is survived by her son, Brett and his wife, Laurie of Attleboro and their son, Zackary; her daughter, Nicole DaSilva and her husband, Richard of Marion and their daughter, Sydney as well as her brother, Carl E. Sund and his wife, Jennifer of Lunenburg.
Calling hours will be on Thursday, June 7 from 4 to 8 p.m. at Sperry & McHoul Funeral Home, 15 Grove Street, North Attleboro. A funeral service will be held on Friday morning at 10 a.m. in Sperry & McHoul Funeral Home chapel. The Reverend Nancy Hartzog, Ruthʼs cousin, will officiate the service.
Internment will be private.
In lieu of flowers, a donation in her memory may be made to the Philip Hulitar Hospice, 50 Maude Street, Providence, RI 02908.

Hi Honey, it's been a year and I still miss and love you as if it were yesterday. It kills me to see how much you are missing as the Grandkids grow. I was searching for a friends mother whom just passed away the other day and I came upon Ruths name. I was saddened immediately. I had only met Ruth a couple of times but she was a very lovely person. I am so very sorry for your loss. Mom,
