Not sure what to say?

I only knew Ruth for a little while as a lovely neighbor next door with whom I shared many meals, talking about the past - and marveling at how much she REALLY love crab rangoons!! From everything we discussed during those times and from others, I came to know that Ruth lived a long, full life, which we all should aspire to.

I'm embarrassed to say how long it took me to realize My Aunt Ruth was a very cool person. Long into my overdue maturation it finally dawned on me how kind and very patient Aunt Ruth and Uncle Paul were with me as I fumbled around growing older, if not exactly growing up. Years ago in a rare moment of good judgment I picked up the phone to tell her how much I appreciated her and Uncle Paul's good intentions and kindness over the years.
To my surprise, that initial adult...

I remember Ruth from long ago when we were all part of First Baptist in Ann Arbor. It is a sad truth that as we age we lost people we felt would always be there. My sincere best wishes to RuthAnn and family as they deal with this loss.

Ruth you are a great LADY. Well, you slipped out on me...Hmmm, I'll be along...

I have fond memories of Ruth. When we went to Connecticut two years ago, we had lunch with Ruth and it was delightful to spend time with her. When we helped her move, we had a great time at Knight's one evening laughing, talking and enjoying the food. When I helped package some of her things when she was moving, I was allowed to take her egg collection. It is my most treasured memory of her and I think of her often when I look at it. She was a wonderful woman and I am so thankful that...

When Ruth was married to the late Paul Brazda, they were each others biggest fan. Both devoted much of their time together in community service. Paul was an early President of the Kiwanis Club of Ann Arbor which was chartered in 1959.
