Not sure what to say?

I am not one of our Dearest and most loved Mom's biological daughters. However, our family met her at a small church in Mechanicsburg, Pa. Many years ago.
My Mother went home to be with our Lord when I was barely 7 years old.
To us she was always know at the church as Mom and her dearest husband know as Pop.
For years she was a Great inspiration to me. Then one day when our 3 oldest children were little, I, called her crying and as we were talking I said, I sure wish I had my...

I wanted to share some comments on cards I received and via my reflection of my exceptional Mother.
From Karen W. in AZ "I know I will miss your Mom's voice as I have since you left. I really enjoyed talking to her when she would call in. She will be missed dearly by all that knew her."
From Linda C. in OH This ia a saying she heard and wanted to share it for comfort "Mourn not too long that she is gone...but rejoice forever that she was!"
From Rick C. "She sounds like a Saint and...

My dear sweet Nana- the most Godly, loving woman I've ever known... I am a grand daughter of Ruth Pauline Shearer, and Daughter of Darlene and Tom Davis.
I didn't get to say goodbye, but if I had, I would have said some things like this:
Thank you Nana- for so many things. Thank you for teaching your children about Jesus, so that they taught us and now we can teach our own children. You didn't get to meet my sweet baby Reid, but he will know about Jesus because of you. Thank...

Our mom had such a peaceful spirt. I will miss that. She taught us that it was better to give than receive. Her constant giving of her time taught me this. She always appreciated the little things in life. She loved playing games with her children and grandchildren. She loved to cook and sew, which by the way, not all her daugherts inherited. Mom loved the things that many of us take for granted. But most importantly, she loved us. Mom was kind and thoughtful. She made us feel special and she...

My mother was Mrs. Shearer's neighbor at Colonial Park Care Center (B11). My mother died the day before so I feel how raw the pain is. I did not know Mrs. Shearer but I felt I "knew" her husband as we met at the meal cart every night to get the trays. I will remember him for the gentleness and love he displayed toward his wife. He looked at her as if she was his new bride and I often thought how wonderful it would be to be married so long and loved so much. The beauty seen with the heart...

My Nana, she was the best grandmother I could of ever asked for. I remember the times in Arizona when she would come over and play all types of board games with me. No matter what the situation was, she would always stick up for me and stand behind me. I will miss seeing her, but I know she is in a better place. I know she will be watching over us and is very proud of her family. I love you Nana and I miss you.

On behalf of the "family" at Christian Life Assembly our prayers and sympathy are with you at this time, yet we rejoice with you knowing Ruth is with her Lord. We will miss her very much at CLA and we share in your loss.

Precious Ruth! Home in Glory! Singing and dancing with her Lord!!! Ruth was one of the first godly pentecostal women I met and inter acted with, and later the leader of a prayer group for a ministry I had for troubled teens at Bethany House. My life in part has some of Ruth's reflection in it, and I thank Abba that our life paths crossed. I look forward to one day singing with her in Glory!!!
Prayers love thoughts & sympathy to ALL of her family.

On March 25, 1920 an angel was sent to the earth to bless and touch many people's lives. On June 8, 2007 she was called back to Heaven. That angel was Ruth Pauline (Shellenberger) Shearer, my beautiful Mother, who I just ADORED.
How gracious God was to send her to the Shearer family. She was everything a Mother could be -- every wonderful adjective there is is applicable to my Mother.
I will so miss laying in the bed beside you Mommy and putting my head on your chest and being so...
