Ruth Elerine Shields

So sad to hear of the passing of dear Elerine. We loved her very much. I would sit and reminisce at Meadow Greens with her, hearing of her childhood, the farm, life's adventures and of Sara. She would call us for many years asking us to come pick up the apples from under the very old apple tree in the front yard of her home on Halverstick so we could can applesauce with the children. She was such a dear woman and she will be missed.
