Ruth Slade

I loved my Aunt Ruthie. I remember hot, sunny summer cookouts on the lower back patio with Uncle Sonny, cousins Larry, Greg, Jeff, and George, and my family (Uncle Sonny and my dad we're brothers). George and I are the same age and would swim to the raft while Aunt Ruthie would literally sit shotgun on the upper balcony to get the alligators while we swam. I spent manny a summer sleeping over with George eating Aunt Ruthie's cooking.

I so very sorry to learn of Ruth's passing. My intention was to get in touch with her soon. This is very sad and my condolences and prayers go out to the rest of her family. Carl Sr(Sonny) was my cousin...my mom was his dad's sister.
