Mrs. Smethers and her family were neighbors of my family in Olathe. Mrs. Smethers was also my beloved Spanish teacher all 3 years at OHS. She supported my love of Spanish and, to this day, I can still speak it fairly well and can translate Spanish in the movies for my family. I send her boys and husband my sincere condolences. May Mrs Smethers rest in peace.
