Not sure what to say?

Dear Wally and family,
I am so very grateful Jo Anne kept us informed of Ruth's last journey. Sad and all as it is, she had suffered enough and deserved to be at peace. She has left a wonderful legacy of love, laugher, hugs and kisses and the many, many good times you all had together. She'll always be near if these memories are remembered and talked about. Keep her near and try to take one day at a time, not even a week, just one day. Know that you are in my thoughts and prayers. May...

To the Smith Family: We are saddened by your loss. I have not seen Ruth for many years, but will always remember her warm and welcoming smile. We know that she is with her Father and although she will be missed here on earth, Heaven has welcomed her home. We pray our Comforter will fill the void you feel from your loss and give you with the peace of His Promise. God Bless

It has been a privilege to be influenced by such a Godly, fun-loving aunt. We will miss her and look forward to much more time with her again someday. We very much wish we could be with all of you during this time. Please know that you are all in our prayers and loved very much.

Dear Wally and Family,

My thoughts and prayers are with you in this time of sorrow - but think of all the wonderful things she is seeing and doing in Heaven!

Ruth always made me feel welcome and a part of the family - I will miss her.

Sad to see such a happy, loving woman leave this place, but I know she is at peace and rejoicing in heaven with her Father God and no longer suffering.

Lisa & Krista,

I was so sorry to hear about the loss of your mother but what a peaceful feeling knowing she is with the Lord. I am praying for you and your families through this very difficult time.

Love,
Edie Kingsley

Ruth Ellen and I have not seen each other for many years ... we were cousins. My recollection of her was that she was an adorable child, always "on the go". When the family visited Vancouver she was told by her father to 'quit shaking the table' ..... she said she wasn't doing anything. Indeed she was not, it was an earthquake.
Years later when my first son, Bruce was one year old, he and I visited Lansing, staying with Aunt Marion, Uncle Bill and family. Bruce was a great hit with...

Wally and family,

All of Ruth's Canadian cousins up here in the Vancouver area have been closely following Ruth's journey through daily messages from Jo Anne, and would now like to extend our sincere sympathy to all her family. I leave you with a short poem I once saw stitched on a sampler in an antique shop:

If tears could build a stairway,
and memories a lane,
you could walk right up to Heaven,
and bring her back, again.

Love and Hugs to all.

Wally and family,
Ruth was a wonderful person. Todd, Broc ,Breann, and I will miss her very much. She is now in a great place. Know that you are in our hearts and prayers during this difficult time. God Bless you and your family.
