Not sure what to say?

The impact of my visits to your home and the things you taught me about nature stick with me for life... when I see a trillium flower (or the look alikes down here in Texas) I think of you. I took my kids rock hunting on the Michigan shore line this summer... and the whole time I was thinking of you and how I´ve done that with you and Aunt Beth. Still trying to find the right time to get to see the cherry blossoms in DC... love you Grandma.

In spite of my being somewhat of a pain, you knew what to do and guided me with love and the patience of Job. It doesn't seem 15 years. I still want to pick up the phone and share things with you that I have discovered and things I would never have known but for your love of teaching me the things that are still an inportant part if my life today. Thank you mom. My deepest love and devotion to you. Mary Ellen

It is a wonderful honor to be one of Ruth Irene Sutliff Solosky's daughters. Mom was a beautiful, educated, "home-engineer" and loving mother who traded a career in nursing for a career in motherhood. We were "compatible opposites" as we used to call one another. Very different in our likes and dislikes, but very compatible and always looking out for the other. I'm grateful for the annual mother/daughter summer vacations we took together; always a pilgrimage to the places and homesteads of...

Momma,
I miss your wit, wisdom, love, patience and most of all you. You taught me innumerable things that,as a child, I thought you were crazy. I was the crazy one. I watch the buds of leaves swell in late winter, knowing spring is soon-one of many things you taught me and we would share throughout the the years, tour teachings guide my gardens, who I am and who I aspire to emulate.
Thank you,momma.
I will always love you deeply

Mary & Mike - So sorry to hear of your Moms passing. You probably don't remember me but we rode the same school bus for years. God Bless!

Grandma Ruth was a remarkable lady. We only knew her for a couple of years but we were very impressed with her spirit and her independence. It was always a delight to speak with her.
We will certainly miss her.

I will miss you Grandma, and I promise, I will be taking my family to DC to see the blossoms in the spring time. I'm sorry we didn't get you there. I love you,

We will miss you very much but are comforted knowing you are at peace in Heaven and in the Lord's hands for all eternity.

Good bye Grandma - tell mom hi. I love and miss you both very much.
